Secret Garden

My new apartment has a little garden in the back, and it got me excited at the possibility of growing something! I've always wanted to grow my own herbs, and now I can actually do it. I'm going to start with basil and thyme, since they're my personal favorites.

I went for a walk today, and took a moment to appreciate all the vegetation around me. This bugambilia tree is just outside my apartment and I just love the vibrant color. So pretty.

A thousand flowers

Every market in New York City is an explosion of color; thousands of flowers fill the streets with vibrant hues and soft textures. I love spending time outdoors during the summer and see all the trees in bloom and flowers everywhere.
