Griottes

I'm so happy I found this blog! It's called Griottes, it's written in French and it has the most beautiful styling and photography I've seen in a long time! I spent some time going trough the recipes and I'm especially smitten with these heart-shaped shortbread cookies with chocolate mousse

Café Henri

Last Tuesday, my sister, my baby niece and I had breakfast at Café Henri, a tiny French café in the West Village. I discovered this place while wandering around the Village (my favorite neighborhood in the city), and I'm so happy I found it! I had the most amazing crêpes, with cheese, ham and eggs, and a gigantic cup of cafe au lait. I feel somewhat disappointed that I was so full by the end of the meal, that I didn't try the sweet crêpes. I guess I have to go back! Want to come?

Pardon my French

I don't like to swear (it's not lady-like!) but these "Pardon my French" cards made me chuckle. Hey, if you're going to curse, at least do it in French, it sounds a lot nicer, right?

Cliche! France

My friend Norma shared this video on Facebook and it made me laugh. Also, GREAT illustration.
