New York Times + Interior Designers + Photography

The New York Times asked 5 interior designers to choose 10 photographs from their archive, creating an amazing gallery of 50 photographs. Well, Jonathan Adler, Thom Filicia, Laura Kirar, Kelly Weastler (a.k.a. my biggest idol) and Vicente Wolf have chosen, and their selections are great. I chose my favorite photograph from each designer gallery:

Jonathan Adler:
New Jersey Turnpike, 1951 by Sam Falk

Thom Filicia:
Bryant Park, 2002 by Vincent Laforet

Laura Kirar:
Parachute Jump, 1946 from the Brooklyn Public Library Collection

Kelly Weastler:
Park Benches, 2003 by Vincent Laforet

Vicente Wolf

Also, a great idea for a holiday gift!
