Last Saturday, I went to the Brooklyn Flea Market, where I spent a lovely morning perusing beautiful jewelry, treasures and trinkets. During the Winter season the flea takes place in the historic Williamsburg Savings Bank, a beautiful building with dramatic windows and an ornate ceiling.
The best part of the day was a very memorable lunch, in which I had for the very first time something called a pupusa, a corn patty traditional from El Salvador. It was the best thing I had in a long time. Can't wait to go back for more!
