Oddsoks by Zara Picken

One of my favorites illustrators, Zara Picken, is working on a children's book.

"The book tells the story of a young boy called Jimi, whose socks strangely start disappearing one day. While trying to solve the mystery, Jimi discovers a note from the Oddsoks, a mob of mischievous creatures who have borrowed the socks to help them on their globetrotting adventure."

It looks wonderful!

Johanna Basford

I recently discovered the work of Johanna Basford. She specializes in hand drawing illustrations mostly in  black and white. Her portfolio is full of drool-inducing artwork, but my favorite project is the wallpaper she created for a Starbucks store in London. She was determined to have Starbucks as a client, so she kept sending hand-drawn cups to Starbucks London and Seattle headquarters. Eventually they got in touch with her and commissioned a wallpaper for the Vigo St location in London.

Ez reopened her beautiful print shop and I've already wish-listed these two beauties! The colors are just so vibrant!

How bikes can save us

Biking And Health
Created by: Healthcare Management Degree

I love to ride my bike, but I'm too much of a chicken to ride during winter. But, Spring has officially sprung, and even though is still a little chilly on my side of the world, I already went for a few bike rides around town and in the park. This infographic offers some interesting data on how riding bikes can improve our health and the environment! Are you riding your bike this Spring?

Ever since I decided to cut back on Facebook , I get so much done! I've been working out, getting more sleep, working on a few personal projects that make me happy and generally, feeling more content with my life.
I love this cool clock to remind me to live life and spend less time online.
