Martha has some good ideas for April Fools' Day, like turning the milk blue, or making a mashed-potatoes- and-gravy sundae. My personal favorite is putting some toothpaste in Oreo cookies.
I think April Fools' should be a legal holiday. We all need to be more silly and make jokes.
Do you have any good pranks?
Happy to discover the work of Italian handbag designer Jen Mascali.
On an interesting note, Jen's great grandfather, a leather artisan, helped create the shoes that Grace Kelly wore on her wedding day. The shoes are on exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Remember the Ikea cookbook? The same team behind the book (including Carl Kleiner) have made a series of videos entitled "Art of Cooking". Aren't they awesome?
After being introduced to her work at the Renegade fair in Brooklyn a few years ago, I've been following the career of llustrator Jen Skelley. Her illustrations make me smile.
Brilliant! Mykea lets you design a custom photo decal to cover your Ikea Furniture. Just upload your picture or artwork, use their template to make it fit your Ikea furniture and they'll send you the decals. How cool is that?
I think I already blogged about this, but just in case, I want to share this fantastic animation and delicious recipe from The Geometry of Pasta. You can buy the book here, and a series of products inspired by the book are in the works.
I loved Rachel's take on my favorite comfort food: Baked Mac and Cheese. Adding veggies makes it a little bit healthier and using ramekins helps to control the portions. Plus, like Rachel said, using ramekins looks cuter.
Yum! I found this Cookie Dough Ice Cream Pizza and I've craving it ever since! But I can't find the recipe! Please, if you do find a recipe for this, can you send it my way?
These Potted Puddings are so cute! Mint chocolate pudding topped with cookie crumb "dirt" and a sprig of mint make this the perfect spring dessert. Has spring sprung already?
